T$ news:
Hmm… Spring break is almost over. Its been nice to do homework and other tasks on my own time. My summer is planned, I’ll be working at the university in the Advising Center, 20hrs per week, and figuring out possible doctoral programs in June. Right now for doctoral programs I have it narrowed down to approximately a dozen, this will most likely change. Top choices are York University in Toronto Canada, University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH, Auburn University in Auburn, AL, and possibly University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Meagan says Canada would be a bad idea (I’ve known she’s always despised Canada). We plan to visit one school in July.
I also have a few research projects I’ll be either finishing, beginning, or continuing in the summer. Hopefully, I can finish the 2007 update of the Psi Chi Oral History I’ve been working on and prepare some Miles research for publication. I’ll begin my search for neat Norman Triplett documents in the university archives. And I will continue working on my Thesis project which is tentatively titled: The effects of neonatal ethanol exposure on nicotine self-administration in rats.
KS update:
The weather is sweet… Today is sunny, the past four have been rainy. Some trees have blossomed with small white flowers, they smell rotten.
Other News:
Comrades Mike and Aaron visited Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We planned to camp but were rained out. Instead, we biked, ate, played dominoes, pac (wo)man, galaga, pole position and watched a movie in Tivoli Square. The Lives of Others is by far the best movie I’ve seen all year, perchance all decade, much better than zodiac and never a slow moment.
Meagan and I played pool on the big table for Melvin’s Birthday.
